Free book!!

14 Jul

Holy cow! — after several hours of re-formats, my book is now available on a couple more places.

Smashwords is having a Summer/Winter sale special (till the end of July), so I’ve enrolled my blog novel in their sitewide promotion.

Here’s the link to download and read EyeLeash: A Blog Novel — use the code JFREE at checkout to get the book for FREE.

Two things:

1. Let all your friends know

2. Feel free to let me know what you think (good, bad, and everything in between ^^). Reviews would be much appreciated.

And now, to get to work on some stuff for my next book…

Hi Jess, I have not yet downloaded your novel but I have been following your blog and read some samples. I really like what you’re doing, not just with your writing but also with turning it into an e-book, putting it on Amazon and so on. You are really ahead of the game. I wish I had time to keep up with you. I think I can learn a few things from you. I will definitely make time to read EyeLeash. Thanks for making it available.

    Hi Joseph,

Thanks! — the e-book/Scribd/Smashwords move was completely spontaneous. I’m currently interested in trying out whatever avenues are available to get my work out, heh.

Hope you enjoy EyeLeash. I’m surprised I’ve gotten several purchases when it’s going for free.

THAT’S one thing I really like about self-publishing, btw (the speed). I love bypassing professionals in the industry. It’s not that I want to be disrespectful towards publishers, but sometimes one just has to do things oneself. I like not needing to bother about them — I just focus on the writing/marketing ;)

I’ll reply your other comment and hop by your blog tomorrow — need to get off the comp, stat ^^ (don’t wanna tire my eyes out from screen glare…).

    Jess.
